Thanks for the confirmation. The trouble is ondemand is laggy as hell.. That would've been my choice from the original governors. Conservative is fine, but Pulse News is a bit slow with it. I'll try performance for a while.. Hope it doesn't eat through my battery :)

Anyone having issues with v3B? I had 4 reboots from stand-by in the last couple of days, and also 2 hang-ups in use (device just freezes). No overclock, I only changed the governor (to pegasusq) and the scheduler (VR, then SIO). Nothing else changed, software-wise, since I switched to ICX...

I think a fair testing method would be reverting to stock kernel AND rom. Your device may have some files on /system that ours don't. At least, this would explain why WiFi works for you, but not for us.

I think he meant the Arc is a different phone, not differences between our P's. In any case, the newest wifi-modules aren't working for me either, with ICX v3B.

Could it be that you're missing some files from the modules zip file, or have put them in incorrect folders? I had a look at Doom's modules for the Xperia Arc (from this thread), and it's quite different from what you have in yours: different folder structures, a few more files.

Cute... but it would be the other way around (if it were true): If you add up used+free RAM from those screenshots posted earlier, you get 635-636 MB for the S, while I have 683MB on the P (151 used / 532 free) :p

You do realise that Doom's stock kernel replaces ICX, right? You can't use both at the same time. Without working WiFi, the ICX kernel is unusable. You can load it with tons of stuff, but no-one's going to flash it (well, not anyone who wants WiFi, anyway).

Touch recovery working fine here, but still no WiFi :( Going back to stock kernel for now... (and yes, I did flash the wifi_modules zip file in recovery) LE- this may or may not be helpful: flashing the stock kernel re-enables WiFi without anything else being needed. I'd have expected WiFi...

Not sure why the apps are taking so much of your RAM. On my Xperia P, the Illumination app uses 1.9MB and Light Flow 7.4MB (current readings, after 1 day and 17 hours of up-time).

Flipboard is fine. Just this morning I spent about 30min in the app on my way to work, no crashes, no blinks... Dunno about Angry Birds, though, I don't play games on me phone :)

The kernel itself is v3, though. There are some new governors, and it's much smoother than v1 / v2, overall. Well.. here's hoping for fixed WiFi modules soon.. I've switched back to v1 for the time being, I need that WiFi thingy working..

The notification LED works fine on my Xperia P, even after installing the app. Maybe it's because I have Light Flow controlling it.

Is your video using a DTS audio stream? I found that I have to reencode my video files with lower audio settings (stereo / Dolby ProLogic) to ensure smooth playback. Looks like Tegra2 cannot decode DTS (5.1 ch) streams, so the players resort to s/w decoding, which results in poor performance...
