Does anyone else experience lag with this firmware? My Z2 Tablet runs perfectly but this is extremely laggy even with a factory reset.

Yep, was completely dead. Wouldn't boot into Fastboot, couldn't repair via PC Companion or anything which is why I'm surprised it's suddenly sprung back to life.

My device is completely stock. No root or boot loader unlock and has never had a repair. I find it strange that after two months of being completely dead, it suddenly sprung back into life!

Sony hasn't added pen support to any of it's tablets. All flagship phones have it's strange when you consider that it would be more useful on a tablet than a phone.

When you say perfectly, do you actually mean perfectly? Did you do anything else other than turn Glove Mode on? Just tried this myself and it's far from perfect. Really have to push down on the screen with ES22 to get it to register an input and seven then it takes several attempts.

I'm as much in the dark as your're I'm afraid, they weren't able to confirm any further details but did definitely confirm a successor to the Z Ultra would follow in October. Perhaps they're refering to the Z3 Tablet Compact that might see UK release in October?

Sony included the software tweak with the Z2 but not the Z2 Tablet, which is strange. I contacted Sony who confirmed there is no ES22 support with no future plans to include it.

Just received notification through PCC on my UK SGP311. Updated but no changes made. SUS and PCC now both report no update so not sure what's gone on there. Most frustrating.

I don't think anything is broken here guys. At the time of release, I read somewhere that Sony intentionally only activated haptic feedback for certain UI elements, the keyboard wasn't one of them. I'm sure it was in manual.

Anyone elses loud speaker at the bottom of the device no longer working? I tried a reformat and it started working again, but shortly after, nothing! No music, ringtone or anything. Same thing happened on my Xperia T but seemed to rectify itself.

I noticed a while ago that at the top right side of my screen, when there's something white showing on the screen like a web page,I have two white blobs which show when the screen is at an angle. Aren't dead pixels, anyone else have this?

It's here to stay. The app can't be disabled so you would need root to remove it.

Yes, think it's a "side effect" of IPS panels as the Xperia Tablet S also suffered the same, as a variety of other devices with IPS display's I have.

Z2 and Z2 Tablet do, but seeing as though very few features where back ported to these phones, as you say, it's no bug :)

Played music from Music Unlimited in Offline Mode for 5 1/2 hours continuously yesterday, battery dropped to 96% from 100%. Quite impressed. Battery went down 1% overnight in Stamina Mode.

Try a different USB cable. Always the way with me.

Anyone else had the waterproof rubber seal on the USB port detach itself? Mine come off, perhaps from the constant use of the USB but in two minds about whether to send it off for repair or not.

There's an issue with the Xperia Live Wallpaper. With it active, the homescreen micro lags, but then again, it also happens on my Z Ultra so evidently a wallpaper issue. With a static wallpaper there is a noticeable difference in the operation of the device. Pinch to zoom in Chrome is perfect...

Fast. Light. Slim. Fantastic screen and stereo speakers. I thought the original tablet couldn't get much better, but it did! Just waiting for my noise cancelling headset to arrive this morning so I can test it at work today!

You should be able to cancel your order. if you can, you could re-order the device. The estimated delivery date is still March 24th - 25th. I feel so lonely. Know one else seems to have one here lol

Is that LTE variant you ordered? All WIFI models are in stock, but LTE isn't.

Micro lags with the Xperia Live Wallpaper. Smooth as butter with a static wallpaper. AnTuTo: 34492, Quadrant: 17335.
