I know this is a month later, but I just got the phone and hit the same problem. Wanted to say thanks cause this seems to have solved my issue!

Post VZW Note 3 N900V Fully Functional on T-Mobile 4G lte (band 4)

I had an issue on and off on mine for a while so I called T-Mo and had them open a ticket after going through all the settings with them. I just got a message saying that the issue was resolved and they closed the ticket. Funny thing is that after I got off the phone with them I decided to try...

Please let us know if this method works. I've looked at a few phones/tablets on ever buying and wondered if they were worth the aggrevation of ordering a phone overseas.

The VZ Note 3 is unlocked for global use so yes, you can pop any SSIM in and use it if the network supports it. The problem is that data will not necessarily work, and neither will MMS.

I think someone mentioned that it would be blocked by vz network based on imei. Not sure how accurate that info is though.

They are both address numbering schemes for internet protocol. IPv4 is the more familiar and common as that is the scheme that had been in use since IP was used to address machines. A few years ago (20) a new format for addressing machines connected to the internet was formed, IPv6. It has not...

Make sure the APN is set correctly. Also global is important. Does the T-Mobile simm work in another phone correctly? It could not be registered on their network right. And definitely reboot when you change the APN settings and wait for about ten minutes. Good luck.

OK, I think I finally fixed it. I changed the APN Protocol and APN Roaming Protocol both to IPv4 and then restarted my phone. And then I jumped in the shower. And when I got out I was receiving and sending picture messages like a champ. Not to mention inbound calls were working and the...

Once I put the new ssim card in it seems to automatically turn VZW band 4 on. As far as I can tell it's meant to work that way on T-Mo. Though, I'm back to MMS not working all the time again *sigh*

Ok, so I figured out the MMS issue I have been having (and verified that I can receive picture messages now). I changed the "APN protocol" from "IPv6" to "IPv4/IPv6" this morning and my picture messages are coming in to me. This is super important because I get email to text alerts from work...

More bad news. I found some settings for MMS from a link I can't post but they don't seem to be working. Here are the settings I got: Go to System settings, Connections, More networks, Mobile networks, Access Point Names. Here you will see the APN "T-Mobile US LTE" Click this and copy down...

Read through this whole thread but I can't find what to add to get MMS to work. I just switched to T-Mobile today with my VZ Note 3 and hope I can get it working cause I really need it. Anybody? PS - Great post.

Post Something I Think Everyone Should Read

If Verizon cancels my contract after 15 years of service with them as they went from Bell Atlantic and through all their other acquisitions/name changes because my phone is rooted, I'll be really pissed. I don't know about everyone else, but I never use tethering on the phone. I strictly...
