Someone any information when beta test for 8x Android Q will start in europe /Germany?

Did anyone hear some information about Android q beta test for 8x?

So Huawei has the US problem. Could this be the new beginning of development for honor and Huawei phones? Anyone heard news about unlocking bootloaders to get custom roms installed?

Try Huawei themes from playstore and install Pixel theme or another launcher. Since Huawei doesn't support unlocking bootloader for their phones the developer and rom scene round Huawei and honor is quiet dead.... But I hope in 1-2 years things will have changed. I come from note 3 hlte la 15.1...

DEVA No never seen. BTW you use a black theme? This might force these issues. I tryed some dark themes but none of them was bugfree. Try using stock theme. darrenlimch Try wiping cache partition. Power off phone, hold vol up and power till recovery boots. Wipe cache and reboot.

Is it normal that the Projekt pie beta is gone in beta app? Is it meaning that beta test are ended and rom is stable enough for market? I can't report bugs for this projekt anymore.

You have to download theme in Huawei themes and install it with design app.

It's all in there, when you open the app it's on top... Last actualized themes.

After beta update system runs much faster.

After they changed my Stat to joined it took about a week before I got the Ota file. I think honor is setting the update manually free for every beta tester. That's why it takes so long.

My onscreen time got much better after wiping cache partition. Last time it was only wifi usage 10h, remaining 36% battery.

Till now I haven't found any bugs in emui9 or Android 9. Pretty smooth rom this beta release.

So the Rom has an unlocked bootloader? But in first official it might be locked after installation. Could magisk provocate that you can't recive new updates?

Maybe they set the beta update for every registered user separately free.

And after installation it says it's not compatible vith this emui version.... dem berliner Are you fine with the update? No massive issues so far?

Firmware Finder seems not to work. When vpn is active the update is gone after actualization. Disconnecting vpn brings it back. :rolleyes:

Could you tell us why you don't like the update? Might help to decide to install or not. Keep in mind that the rollback will delete all your data. It's written in the notice down under the installation notification of the update! And please ... Keep on posting in English. Clear communicated...

No problem. Ist only the notification from included trust security. You can turn off notification in settings... Privacy security, trust. In following builds this will be fixed maybe. But don't worry about it. ;)

Is it only emui9 or with android 9? The article said Android 9 but the homepage discribes only emui9. I'm not sure if I should register myself. Maybe the phone won't work completely after update....

No just wanted to ask. If there won't be roms for 8x there is no need 4. Hope this will change by time to get linage for this phone, until it won't be supported anymore. Root for adaway might be nice but without option for Ota updates it is less useful.

Can't get nova launcher working too. I've read honor won't allow other launchers in Android p with miui 9. ?
