I did a factory reset and installed ~10 of my most used apps instead of restoring all apps and it's been sleeping fine now, no wakelocks
I also turned off WiFi and Bluetooth scanning, location services are on battery saving, and Google location reporting is off
Hi guys,
Got my Nexus 5X on Monday and since then I've been experiencing some odd battery drain from "Android OS" under battery stats. I've uploaded a set of images from the stock android battery manager and 2 images from GSAM. Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how I can fix it...

Yeah, the edge+ definitely does lag. I was comparing it to my nexus 6 running the latest chroma marshmallow build (10/19/15) and there was a definite difference in favor of the nexus 6
I should be receiving mine on Tuesday but I'm not gonna open it until Thursday when ,y case and tempered glass screen protector arrive. But I plan on doing the same: unlock, root, recovery, and install Benzo ROM before setting it up! So excited.
scrosler or anyone else,
I'm having horrible wakelock issues with the google search application. It's keeping my phone awake 87.5% of the time when the screen is off. Any recommendations? I tried disabling wakelock for the app with wakelock terminator and it hasn't done a single thing.
NC4 really ruined everything about the Note 3. My battery life was cut in half and there's just so much lag. The point of this was to improve battery life and performance by disabling DVFS, hibernating apps, and taking control of the CPU. I can't go from 7:30am-2:00am without my battery dying...
Your previous statement was that you could use your phone constantly for 24 hours and still have 60% battery remaining. If you do the math, you're saying your phone would use up 40% of its battery over a period of 24 hours. That comes out to an average drain rate of 1.67%/1 hour.
In the...
I am pretty sure this would work on the N900W8. Basically, all you need to do is acquire root to do any of this. If TowelRoot supports the N900W8, then yes, this would work for you.
Hmm. I don't believe that you have such great battery life. It seems impossible. However, if somehow you are...
I'm not sure what you meant, however, I do know that if you have DVFS disabled through Wanam you do not need to download and install DVFS disabler. DVFS disabler is more for performance rather than battery gains.
*OPTIONAL* For those that can't stand that their SuperUser binaries are out of date, follow these instructions:
I do know that some of you are extremely anal about these things so I’ll list what you need to do in order to update the Superuser binary.
1. Download...
Hey guys, I just recently bought my Note 3 and it unfortunately came with NC4. Thanks to Geohot and his TowelRoot I was able to root my phone and install some minor/simple tweaks using Xposed Installer to make my Note 3 usable. Here's a step-by-step of what I did to get my phone to achieve...
with a new motox coming in the summer, i'd hold off on the current version. even if you want the original motox i'd guess that prices would be much lower by late summer if you buy a mint condition used one
This suggestion worked for me, thank god. It seems as if the pin in the charging port was pushed down. I gently pushed it up and now it is charging completely fine.

No I actually didn't buy my Xoom from Dailysteals. I bought it off someone on E-bay before they started appearing on Dailysteals
That seems like a really good idea, I'm going to install the wingray stock OTA jellybean build and see what happens! Thanks for the info I had no idea you could...
first of all that so called "official" jelly bean for stock verizon xoom lte was a developer preview for the xoom and it was also a nandroid dump. you can't even install from an update.zip because there isnt one. so many apps arent compatible with jelly bean and cause battery issues as well. the...
i think something is seriously wrong with the deep sleep or something within the os on all of these CM builds as well as EOS builds. when i look at battery using Android OS is taking up almost 80-90% and it says it's awake for hours and hours and my battery drains way too fast. However, whenever...
