As far as I know it's not possible to use spb weather 2, only 1.x versions work i'm afraid.

If you do it carefully, and use the Sd card flash (only for the rom, not for the HardSpl i believe), the chances of it are really really small, but i guess there's always a chance.. But trust me, its more than worth it :)

There are really good guides and how-to's on the Rom development page, go read the stickies there. You need to HardSPL first, then flash a rom. But dude i should advice you to read a bit more before just plugin your $500 phone in and start doing things that could damage your phone.

No that was tried yesterday, the only way to fix video playback is by reflashing. But it works flawlessly afterwards, just watched some vids on youtube, so its worth it:) @Smaberg: absolutely fantastic rom!

You only have to hardspl once, so just pick a new rom, put it on your sd card/use the bootloader, and flash it.

If you mean to get it working, it should work straigth out of the box, just go outside, start google maps and wait. First time might take a while before it gets a lock on the satelites though.. and check if quickGPS' data hasn't expired (start it under programs)..
