Post [ROM] fRomFuture - Stock Rom L29 (B179)

Hey there, I've been using this rom for a long time now and I'd like to uninstall it for the sake of going back to stock, but I can't find a way how to do this since I'm unable to find any working links to stock firmwares. All the links I can find are dead or 404'd. Same goes for the links on...

Thread Still possible to download official firmwares?

I've been on fRomFuture B171 for a while now, and I'd like to rollback to stock Nougat (or update to Oreo/Pie), but I can't seem to find any official firmwares. All the links I can find are dead or 404'd. Same goes for the links on xda threads that I've been sifting through. I'm running VTR-L29...

Post Xposed framework for (N) and Gravity box for (N)

Didn't work for me. Chmod 777 applied to mentioned files, restarted and Xposed displays "installed but not active" again. I'll go back to powering off & on. Maybe you could get back to me? :)

Just for a heads-up, I installed the 88.2 update via Magisk's download section and it's working. Although I had to restart, dis- and re-enable the modules and then do the power-off & on thingy to have it retain the changes.

Just tried again but it's the same, selections unticked and no logs. It's not too bad, I only wanted Xposed logs for troubleshooting, but since powering off & on instead of restarting, Xposed works just fine. Thanks for the help though :)

Didn't work for me. Would reset to unticked on reboot /power-off & on and Xposed still wouldn't show logs.

Also, is there any chance that the 88.2 update that is present within Xposed Installer solves this issue? I'm afraid to update right now since it's barely working.

lil_kujo Seems the most likely. Pretty inconvenient, but it will have to do for now.

Just got home and tried this, it's working now! Awesome. Thanks so much. EDIT: Okay, so I enabled some modules (Boot Manager, InstallerOpt, Xposed Torch) and restarted. I tested, it worked, then I restarted again (from the power menu) resulting in the same issue. (Framework v 88.1 (Systemless...

Cannot get Xposed to work (not active) Hi, I'm on fRomFuture B171 with Magisk 14.3 beta and the Xposed SDK 24 module, but I can't seem to get it to work. I rebooted after installation through Magisk but Xposed Installer (3.1.2 by dvdandroid) tells me Xposed is installed but not active. Soft...

There's an xposed module by pyler available in the repository. http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.nosafevolumewarning I've used it before, should do the trick.

    Post [STOCK][M] H815 20D Images + KDZ + Flashable Zips (system+boot+modem+bootloader)

I just went for it following the steps in OP. Apps are being optimized right now so it should be working. EDIT: I can confirm successfully installing v20d from cm12.1, I wiped before flashing the complete zip in twrp. Just in case someone else has similar doubts. Thank you.

Flashing the complete zip on top of cm12.1 (coming from v10d) should be fine if I wipe before flashing, right?

    Post [Q&A] [ROM][D2303/D2306][5.0.2] CyanogenMod 12 | Developement & Discussion | 26/01/2

Another question, is it possible for me to flash another kernel that supports SELinux on the latest build without having to wipe the system again? Otherwise I suppose I'm stuck with what I got out of it for the moment...

I think I managed to get it a tad bit louder. I am now using a version of Viper that has SELinux seemingly pre-enabled, if that even works on a system with it disabled. I found it on a forum other than xda (reddit or android central; I'll try to find it again and add a link to the app here)...

So now I've read up on activating Viper on 5.1 devices on reddit, but now I've stumbled upon another hurdle. Setting SELinux mode to permissive (via SELinuxModeChanger) and disabling NuPlayer in the developer options is required, but SELinux seems to not be supported from the current kernel...

Simply installing both .apk's didn't do the trick. But thanks, I'll read up on that and report back. Does anyone else encounter this issue as well or is it just me? :D

Thanks for the reply, but the latest version is the one I tried it with (FX version v2.3.4.0 (Android 2.3~5.0)). As described earlier it seems to only work for short, single sounds, like the touch sound when tapping the home button, for example. I only installed the 4.x one, though. Do I need to...

Volume I can't help but feel that the speaker volume is too low. Headphones are great, but the sound that's coming from the phone speakers is way too quiet, at least for me. Outside I often can't even pick up a call because I don't hear my phone ringing, which is a bit of a bummer. I've tried...
