Hello, newb here. Will this get the updates directly from Huawei while skipping the provider? My provider (Fido aka Rogers) is horrible for bringing out updates and are full of bloat wear.

Exactly my point ;) Was referring that it also depends on the network provider if your device is not de branded....unless there's another way I don't know about.
