Post [GUIDE]P10/P10+ root with magisk & SN verified/installing firmware
Hi, on VTR-l29 C636, Magisk root will work only on Oreo 8.0.0.360. On 8.0.0.365a and 8.0.0.366 it will stuck at booting on huawei logo. I tried 15.4, 16.0 and 16.4 too. Got it repaired everytime with the update guide from Jannomag.- mxn2000

Post Magisk 16.0 in P10 Orea
You can't set SELinux to permissive because of the Kernel from the Stock ROM B360. If you want SELinux on permissive you have to flash another Kernel, But if you think after that you will install viper4android successfully, you are wrong. I tried, I flashed another kernel, this one...- mxn2000

Post Custom Kernel for Huawei p10 VTR [KERNEL] HyperPlus Kernel For Oreo 102 by ajituchiha
I booted the phone in fastbootmode and flashed with: fastboot flash kernel <name_of_kernel_in_this_thread.img> from windows Powershell on PC. After that i reboot and .....look there I got an Android in permissive mode.- mxn2000

Post Error mode - Func 11 and 2 (Oreo)
I had the same Problem with my VTR-L29C636. I fixed it with flashing the last Firmware before Brick through DC Phoenix. Put the phone in fastbootmode with VolDown+plug in usbcable, started DCPhoenix loaded the needed 2 files from Firmware into Phoenix(in my case oreo b360, from the russian...- mxn2000
