nope, the replacement was done through Nvidia directly, not the RMA service, NVIDIA requires tablets be sent back to them still. juggling these and figuring out which to send back sucked. Also, since I've gone through so many recently, I'm kind of burnt out on using it at all now.

I have this same exact problem. I called the recall support number, who told me to contact Nvidia support directly. They have now started a whole new RMA for the replacement tablet, nothing's been finalized yet. This is a huge pain in the butt.

This has been working great on my US LTE Shield Tablet. I have a request though: auto set on device startup, or maybe revert to last state after restart. I hardly use the LTE on my tablet and have another app that restarts the tablet daily (it really helps keep it responsive)

I've had this issue, but only while charging. More noticeably while charging using 3rd party chargers, though the nvidia charger does have some "lag" as well.

well battery has gotten better, but I still noticed a small cpu drain, so I looked into it. It seems that Surfaceflinger is taking up an average of 19% cpu at all times. I attached some screenshots of it. Note that the sast 8 hours in the history have been while the phone was charging overnight...

I can verify that this works! I couldn't get the other (flash through recovery) methods to work, but this did the trick. I used the same files you did, I don't really have the need for video chat over 4g

To everyone who also has the status bar issue: I've gotten around it by relocating the status bar to the bottom, and reversing the up/down slide gestures in ADW. Also, I'm the notification bar widget disappears until I restart the phone after ~4hours of use every time. Anyone else seeing that?

Does anyone know of a way to backup swype before flashing to CM7? I remember having to download cracked versions for cm6 on my old htc magic, which was a pain to find. IT seems in similar ways to how we are able to include to google apps as a seperate package, we should be able to have swype...

and just finished the backup from this phone, and restore from the previous. it worked! I have 4g, root, working gps, s=off. The hardware keys are also noticeably firmer too. the old ones were very creaky.
