I bought my Mi Pad 4 recently from an aliexpress seller, came with some version of the MIUI EU global ROM with bootloader already unlocked. My question is: how can I attach this device to my own Xiaomi account in case I (read:accidentally) lock my bootloader and needs unlocking once again?

Upon returning to a backup of Xiaomi EU ROM I've encountered "Find Device Storage Corrupted" something of the sort. Is there a remedy to this? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the extra information, my ROM is also Xiaomi EU as well, but for the Mi Pad 4. I have the same settings it seems but it only automatically starts sometimes. Oh well, this is a great app necessarily if you want longevity anyway. Appreciate the help!

Interesting, I've allowed the app to start in the background in permissions as well as disable battery optimizations on it. As for the MIUI native optimization, where would you find settings for that?

Is the app automatically starting when you plug in the charging cable and also automatically terminating when you unplug? Because it doesn't on my Mi Pad 4, there needs to be an extra steps that requires me to enable/disable the service.

Does anyone else have the issue of the volume buttons being unable to change media volume by default (even when none is playing)? I never adjust my Ringtone/Alarm but it defaults to those adjustments regardless of my "Default media stream toggle" setting. Also, might not be an issue for this...

Are you referencing the stock chinese ROM that you need to flash with MiFlash or the Xiaomi.EU version via custom-recovery flashable form? If it is the former, do you have a link for it? The miui website seems to be down for me.

Newbie here, is there a stock kernel or vendor that needs to be reflashed before returning to stock/MIUI-based ROMs? Just in case some odd combination of Paranoid Android doesn't work out for me. Can we use this supplied version of TWRP supplied going forward for any of the Mi Pad 4 ROMs?
