Thank you for all the help Danny, but I think my phone is toasted. I talked with HTC and they asked me to do a manual update by installing the HTC Synch Manager and connect the phone to the PC. Of course that didn't work because the PC couldn't recognize the phone as it is not successfully...

I followed this (drained the battery) and couldn't get it to boot into bootloader either. Do you think the original poster can fix? He did stated that he has 100% success. As of July 2013 anyway. :) And I wouldn't mind donating for his time. (or anyone that can help, for that matter) Thanks!!

Before I unlock the bootloader I did uncheck the 'Fast boot' box. I think the Volume buttons are ok because the phone boot differently with it pressed than without. Pressing both the Vol Down + Power buttons the phone will just boot into the green arrows circle. Pressing just the Power button...

Did this ever worked for you? I just got a LG-769 and can't use the Bluetooth to voice dial. Pressing the button on the Bluetooth does not do anything when using it with other phones it will ask me to 'Say a Name' to call.

It keeps dialing the wrong name. If I use the Speak in Car mode, it will get the right name.

At least it's working for you. Mine is not working, in the Car mode or straight from Bluetooth (not in Car mode).

By the way, the voice we hear from pressing the "Speak" button in the Car Mode is a different voice from the one we hear just by pressing the Bluetooth headset button to activate Voice dial command. So those 2 apps are probably using different text to speech engine. If only we can change the...

Told you I am still dazed.... :) You are absolutely right. Pressing the Speak will dial the person. Pressing the Bluetooth it opens up "Just one moment, ...." and hangs there.

Mine occasionally won't go into landscape. At any screens/apps. I tried to uncheck/check Auto Rotate option but no luck. A reboot fixed it.

Trueblue's. With ver 1.2 it worked with my bluetooth headset. When I clicked the call button it would brings up the voice command screen. With this new ver 1.3, it just redial the last number. Thanks for the quick reply!!!
