Were you successful? I've downgraded back to stock but I've noticed the flashlight app and calculator apps are missing. How can you be certain that you are back to 100% stock and all install files from rooting are gone?

Yes, also toggled force gpu etc, but the jaggedy scrolling still persists. A quick run of quadrant and the fps in all of the scenes is ~5fps slower than the sabsa ics sense rom (for example). I submitted a bug report and added a logcat as requested, hope it helps!

It's weird as there's tearing etc which is something that you dont get on ICS sense roms and they are supposed to be resource hungry and laggy. Maybe there's something up with the...

Just installed this rom - it's awesome! One thing that's noticeable though is the jaggedy scrolling in the GUI - almost like there's something up with the 3d acceleration? Sense 4 roms have got smoother scrolling than this, which is weird... Any way around this? Tried activating 3d accel in...

Found the reason - my android system was set up with English (United Kingdom). I'm currently in the states - when I changed it to English (United States) the search other cities option magically started working. When I changed back to UK English it stopped it from finding cities - must be an HTC...

This is the BEST from for the mt4g by far! It's so quick and that's without v6 supercharger. Only one problem I've encountered - sometimes the touchscreen becomes unresponsive and you have to use the hardware keys / touchpad to force a reboot. I'm using the newer kernel. Is this a known issue...

Curious, does the kernel actually use the RAM and is just mis-reporting the amount free, or is it more serious where its ignoring and not using the extra 256mb?

Will this kernel read the amount of RAM on our devices correctly? Seems Virtuous rom is slow as its just not using all the available ram in the device...

Sure by all means. :good: You can really see the affect if you have it in landscape mode and pulling down the notification menu.

One more thing, is V-Sync turned off? Notice "tearing" in 3d - is there a way to turn it back on? Still, a great ROM, totally a DD :)

I'm interested in this too - don't have the headunit yet to test it but don't see why we can't install the Samsung app on an HTC phone? Looking at mirrorlink it seems to be some sort of VNC app so its entirely in software... Did you try installing the samsung apk at all?

Elginsk8r do you mean copy libcamxxxxxx.so files from /system/lib from the VI rom to the this one, or are there more libs to copy than that? Also thanks for the 3.0 kernel, so happy I had to donate to show appreciation :)

No worries, ROM isn't really usable with low mic though - shouting down the phone while walking in public doesn't look too good - hope you can fix it soon as it's one of the best Sense 4's I've tried.

Good call on winamp for music - just need MIC FIX please! Can't use it anymore as you have to yell into the phone for people to hear lol

I like this rom, but having the low mic issue too, please fix as I would like to keep this rom! Also as with all other sense 4 roms, it has trouble playing mp3s in the music player (first few seconds then stops with error). Only the sense music player seems to have this issue. One more thing...

Is it worth posting on Qualcomm's forum asking for the ICS binaries like people did for the Adreno 200 ones? Or is ICS a non starter due to hardware limitations?
