That's what technician who was replacing my broken screen did. He replaced the screen while tablet was on and busted display circuitry on the motherboard, not the fuse. It had to be fixed on the component level.

I'm trying to install newest 8.0 on D851 with stock kernel using twrp-3.2.1-0-d851. While flashing when Aroma installer attempts to start, my phone will reboot. This happens with CleanROM_2.8 which also uses aroma installer. Is it because of my TWRP or kernel?

I have reflashed same ROM using Flashtool without wiping USERDATA. Installed newest cracked SuperSU 2.82 and disabled automatic update.

When this happened to me, I've reflashed my ROM to get it working again. If you have recent TWRP backup, you might as well to use that. Currently, I run cracked SuperSU 2.82 and have disabled automatic SuperSU update.

I wouldn't even bother with that software. It's Navigon which is quite inferior compared to Streetpilot from Garmin. Check gpspower for solution, as long you are on lollipop still.
