So just a quick run down the bumper has some tape that prevents contact with the metal. Side buttons are a pita to press due to lip on top plate. As far as signal loss the only thing I notice is where I get really weak 4g I stay on 3g now....by 4g weak I mean where I might get 1mb if im lucky...
