Does this make a difference? I have VZW/VZW/XAA because I had my Verizon SIM card in during the first boot. I don't have any Verizon software on it at all, but VoLTE and VVM work (no WiFi calling though). Is there any reason I would want to have XAA/XAA/VZW instead of VZW/VZW/XAA? :confused:

Shouldn't it be defaulting to F/2.4? I think it'd prefer it that way, at least, particularly in 3rd party apps which are expecting an aperture closer to that size.

I have the unlocked S9+ on Verizon and the Video Call block is "Off". I haven't tried flashing to unlocked firmware or anything, and can't get it to work anywhere in the phone, but the block is Off.

If anyone is getting an unlocked S9 to use on Verizon, would you mind posting what does and doesn't work (i.e. WiFi calling, VVM, etc.)? I should be getting mine tomorrow so will try to post my own findings then if no one else does.

Same. Seems to work pretty well, based on my limited usage (admittedly in a relatively quiet office, which surely helps). Not sure I'll get much usage out of it in the long run, but it's fun to play around with.

Bixby voice beta is activated for me as of like an hour ago. Check out the app and hit the voice icon. Tbh I'm not sure I'll use it ever/much as these voice things are a bit too much of a novelty for me, but it does seem to work quite well so far (although I'm in a relatively quiet office).

Battery life seems worse for me too, and the phone seems to run a little hotter (though that may be a coincidence since the weather's been hot where I am the last few days).

This is about as good a stock ROM as I could ever want, I love it. Very fast, and the new blur is actually really good. I'll still never use the social networking stuff they include (since I use Tweetdeck), and hate the bloatware apps, but it doesn't really bother me much. Hope we can get it...

You must never have had some of their older WinMo stuff. Terrible build quality, a lot of people here would go through 5+ devices over 2 years. It's gotten better, definitely, but I love the build quality of the Droid X.

For some reason I can't get above like 1.15GHz. 1.15 works fine but 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 all go to turtle mode. Ugh.

Meh, maybe I'm the only one but I'm happy with the X the way it is (unlike my old Touch Pro 2, no amount of custom ROM's could save that thing from being slow).

Yeah, I just stopped using Blur and use LauncherPro and the device is as fast as I could ever want it to be. FroYo will make this thing perfect (or at least good enough for the next 22 months or so until I have an upgrade :D)

Agree'd. The ninjaBlur widgets are definitely an improvement, but the more "serious" tone of the HTC widgets is still unmatched by anyone imo.

iPhone scrolling is definitely smoother but slower than Androids. I love how fast Android can scroll, though. They just need to make it a bit smoother. I couldn't say a fix is "desperately" needed, but anything they can do to smoothen it out would help.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Outside of CityID, there's nothing I really hate and want to get rid of. Will I ever use Blockbuster or Amazon MP3 store? Probably not, but it doesn't really hurt me to see them on my app list.

Yeah, the GPU in this is really helping to sell me on it. TBH I don't mind not having custom ROMs (Android custom ROM's aren't nearly as necessary as WinMo custom ROMs IMO), but I really want to be able to overclock, since hopefully this will be able to get up to 1.2-1.3GHz, at least.
