Yes and no. This breaks some functions like youtube reports no internet connection and is unusable. Also data usage doesn't seem to stop on my device so it doesn't really fix anything. ---------- Post added at 12:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:38 PM ---------- Seems like we are...

    Post Battery Life Discussion Here

Holy sh*t Google Services is using data sooo much. Not that bad hit to battery after all but without Google f**king things up like this it would be better. I can't understand what exactly uses that data. I had sync off most of the day, all location services off, wifi scanning off, pretty much...

Due to data usage bug on mobiledata it seems to be good idea to use as much wifi as possible. There's significantly less battery drain when I'm using wifi. Hopefully samsung will bring fix to this with android 6 update.

I've had my S6 for couple days now and running stock android 5.1.1. Pretty impressed with the overall battery performance. The concern is not wakelocks but data usage is pretty weird here. Does anyone know what happens if I would like to try and install a modified stock ROM using TWRP from this recovery? I know these recoveries get installed on "fota" partition and stock ROM uses it for updating purposes (as I've heard). So will this whole thing work out or will the flashing...
