Issue fixed, upgraded to version 3.2 via the update menu in the tab. Rooted it and installed the following kernel: 2.6.36.4 - OC-VFPv3-d16_FP 1.4GHZ. Don't know what fixed the issue if it was 3.2 or the custom kernel. I'm happy the problem is solved and hopefully if somebody else has this issue...

Have you tried using the phone without the SD card? I used to have a similar issue, took the SD card out and no mor random reboots/resets.

So backup SD card, format SD card then restore data to SD card again. Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the format?

I was going to say update to the latest version, but you already did. So I'd recommend changing the WiFi channel, maybe some other wireless networks are interfering with your connection.

Try downgrading the radio (2.15.00.11.19) to an older version. ROM's that come with HTC newest kernels will not recognize that radio and give weird problems, I for example could not boot the phone while trying to install myn's warm 2.2 RLS4. Downgraded radio and problem was solved.
