I have an s8 too. the d5 works fine for whatsapp, play store etc although some apps are not that easy to use with a round screen. using mine with a sim as well for calls and data. main thing though is there is no camera built in unlike the S8

ah.. okie.. then no idea what might be causing it! will also monitor on mine to see if it is enabled by itself.

check that in Wi-Fi advanced settings u have disabled Wi-Fi scanning. this setting is usually turned back on after an update.

yes. it does. u sync it first and download the songs etc then move it to offline mode. it will. play the downloaded/offline enabled songs.

what I noticed it that the brightness of the 2nd screen now auto adjusts based on lighting conditions even when the main screen is off :)

same here. still works fine after rearranging the soft buttons

great to know! mine dropped twice from waist height as the holder it was on gave way. I was fortunate there were no scratches, cracks etc! I would however feel rightly concerned had there been, given the type of drops it was supposed to take.

just to add, the HK Dual Sim variant does have the ear phones in the box

seems to be that they are in the box for Korean and HK variants (Korean sets are what most of the reviewers showed)

To both, no idea yet on both root or bootloader unlocked. Unfortunately I won't be attempting these. Happy with the phone as it is now and also because of work.
