Same here. Mi MIX 2, latest MIUI 9 version 7.10.19 I had to flash the 7.10.19 update to get the device to boot.

Downsample on server side! Count me in for that one as well. Even more awesome would be to have this control in Foobar foo_upnp component as well, along with "Override remote server transcode settings".

Giving up on these features is a very tough call. Tapping a track album art plays the track by default. Swiping the track name selects/deselects it for playlist editing. How about swiping on the tabs dock itself to switch between tabs?

ArkMC doesn't support remote UPnP streaming through the Internet as BubbleUPnP does. If ArkMC rocks your boat, then good for you. This is the BubbleUPnP thread, so I don't believe your comments belong here.

foo_upnp do support UPnP tethering +1 on that request.

Settings > Networks and settings > Mobile Max Bitrate (or WiFi / Eth Max Bitrate) > No transcoding

I also own an Olive device and its implementation of the UPnP protocol is mediocre at best (bubbleguuum can confirm). When I'm home I usually use Olive's apps (Android or iOS) as it's decent enough. When I'm on the go BubbleUPnP (and its server software) is the best thing since sliced bread.

Tried both CM7 and CM9. CM9 is a 'no turning back' affair. Love it. Even if some things don't work still: - HWA - USB host - UPnP apps (wasn't mentioned in that thread so far, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521488) I'm still keeping it as my daily driver.

I just tried the ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528024 It's said to be based on intersectRaven's latest CM9 kernel. It doesn't work either...

Well it doesn't work for me. Can you connect to a UPnP media server or NAS via WiFi? All CM9 ROMs have problems with this. It only works with stock and/or CM7. See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521488

Yep, the thread was moved. Fair enough. Did a bit of shark capture analysis today but could only confirm jdommer's observations.

I can confirm your findings. SSD discovery of the UPnP server seems work fine as I see it replying to the multicast group with its uid and service notifications. However the KF keeps on sending search request as if it couldn't process the replies.

Glad to know I'm not the only one anxiously waiting for that app (and all other UPnP stuff) to be supported.

Is 2Player the only app you tried?

I had sent a BubbleUPnP logfile to bubbleguuum two days ago and that's how I ended up posting here. My case exactly... Sorry I'm not that knowledgeable. What should be the next steps then?

I tried most of the CM9 ROMs on this forum and none of them would get apps like UPnPlay or BubbleUPnP to work. Basically those apps should wirelessly connect to UPnP music servers. It works fine on the CM7 ROMs that I've tried though. This is likely to be an issue with WiFi driver not properly...

UPnP? Anybody noticed that apps like UPnPlay or BubbleUPnP don't work? An issue with WiFi MultiCast? Those apps work fine on CM7 (can connect to my music server) but not on this one. Thanks.
