I'd love to, but the only scatter file I have is the one from the aluminum Omate (newer). The Omate that's in a boot loop is steel, and the scatter file for that one is back home (on vacation now). I could post the newer scatter file, but don't know if that is of any use.

I can confirm that 5MP pictures crash the camera while 3MP works. I ran the script again in hopes of updating the 0527 to 0706. I then factory reset the device in TWRP. It boots OK and is updated to 0706! :good::good::highfive:

Ok, so the TWRP install failed. Same for me. But mine stopped booting at all after that. Did you have TWRP after this even though the install failed? I imagine you booted into recovery to wipe dalvik cache? Seems scary to try install TWRP if it fails often. Maybe I will try again with the same...

Ok, I used my old scatter file and just replaced my old boot.img with the one linked three posts ago. It flashed just fine with SP Flash Tool. Sadly, it still won't boot. I gets stuck at the logo after the boot animation. :/ :confused:

I rebooted a coulpe of times but still it freezes at the logo. I cannot go into recovery either because it freezes there also and reboots into normal boot after 2 minutes or so, and then freezes there. :/

Hmmm... I gets stuck at the "other" boot logo (the one before recovery) and just freezes there... After a minute or two it reboots to ordinary boot logo and freezes there... Dang it!:silly: Maybe my recovery is broken?

My watch is from the 4th shipping list and it's a 1/8 2100MHz. I switched computer (windows 7 64bit).. and the Mediatek COM5 port seems to work here, by not disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. After a battery pull, this device shows up. And the Mediatek COM port correctly works...

Yeas, I've tried that too, and since the watch won't boot I can't get ADB to work, which I believe is required for MTKdroid. Either way that won't work neither. :(
