There must be a lot of bugs on the updates, its better to wait for a stable update than an unfinished unstable update

P10 Easily The P10 has the better chipset, (Kirin 960 vs the P20 Lites Kirin 659) It also has the better camera. Only area where p10 lacks would be software wise. P20 Lite is running Emui 8.1 whilst the p10 is on Emui 8.0

I got an OTA for B185 in my UK Sim Free P10 (C432) but i didnt get Oreo, seems very odd

Its a bug in the display, you can turn it off in developer options but it still occurs. I think B365 has a fix for it

the p10 has a skin on top of android called emui. project treble simply means google will push us out updates faster. I'd say right now giving your s8 for a p10 is not worth it, though the p10 has an overall stronger cpu, but slightly weaker gpu. I'd suggest maybe selling your s8 and trading...

Im b179 and no strange heating problem around camera.Only happens after extended periods of usage. Keep in mind i think though the chipset for the phone is placed near the camera so thats why it heats up after long periods of usage

Good news guys! I figured out the way to download the software updates! Go into the preinstalled app on your phone called Emui Software Updates, click on the three dots on top right of your screen, and click on download latest software packages.. Voila! Hope this helped! Im currently downloading...
