Hello, I have to use eRecovery, but when I click on Recovery button it says that my device cannot be recovered What should I do?

how long does the ROM flashing takes? I'm stuck at "script succeeded: result was (1.000000)" while the progress bar is full under "Installing system update"

I just got a new update, version 1.70.111.1 (about 260 MB); android version is still 4.4.2 and I noticed the "Powered by Android" phrase is on the bootanimation too and the top right icon in the notifications menu has a little changed

I found out this morning too!!! I had the phone turned off and it turned on for the alarm and after that it asked me if I wanted to turn it off again, leave on the phone with airplane mode on or off! I'm on stock 2.24 rom and fast boot off.

I can run the ruu, but right after the 0%, when it erase user data, it stops and gives me 171 error... I've tried with latest htc drivers and universal adb drivers

I tried both naked universal adb and htc drivers and still have 170 error when I try to install ruu... what can I do?

dude, I'm not a noob, I know how to fix the 171 error, but still I got that error I flashed the 1.20.401.1 firmware and now the red line in the bootloader has gone. Now the only thing I need is to run the 1.20.401.1 ruu and relock everything, my phone name in device list in windows is "My HTC"...

what if I flash stock 1.20 bootloader and 1.29.401.13 rom and then make official ota?

I flashed 2.24 bootloader and 2.24 rom... anyway if I try to flash ruu (the 1.28.401.7) it always gives me the 171 error (tried on three PCs)

firmware is stock 2.24.401.1 I cannot flash the ruu because there's no 2.24 ruu :) the red line in bootloader says: OS - 1.20.401.1 (2.24.401.1) and I want to get rid of it i'm still unlocked and s-off

i flashed it, but when I reboot bootloader it says always 1.54... and then ruu gives me the error 171 now I re-unlocked the bootloader and installed custom recovery, but I'm trying to copy a rom zip file through recovery! any help please???

Guys, I've gained s.off on 1.54 hboot, then I wanted to downgrade to 1.44 hboot with official firmware zip, but when I try to run the ruu it always gives me a 171 error! I can enter only into bootloader, recovery is stock and I cannot flash a custom one, it says writing recovery.... failed...

I'm s-off now on 1.54 hboot. Can I downgrade to stock hboot of 1.20 ruu and install official ruu on my phone?

disable fast boot option in settings! it worked for me! s-off gained!!!

yes, you have to update firmware if coming from ics, I don't know why, I asked it too, but I updated the firmware and installed the ruu with zero problems

you have to install first firmware using fastboot and then install the ruu
