I read about a more privileged instruction set available when using UART, but was not yet able to see any difference. Only difference I noticed UART-connection is stable and USB modem connection breaks when screen goes off.

I am using the same build but no problems so far. Maybe your radio is outdated? Simplest way to upgrade radio is to flash latest stock Samsung ROM and afterwards switch back to CM10.1.

Has anyone tried to build CM10.1 for Xperia Acro S? The build fails when looking for "vendor/sony/hikari/proprietary/bin/btld". I am using TheMuppets-repository but obviously the file "bltd" for hikari is missing. Am I missing some additional repository?

As the site says status is still pending for T-Mobile Germany. It usually takes T-Mobile a few weeks to release their branded releases. With christmas and the new year between the release and now expect it by end of january.

No. You dont need to sim-unlock if you want another ROM, but if you have a branded ROM you need to flash a stock ROM via ODIN. Your phone will remain sim-locked with that stock rom. You'll find tutorials in the sticky posts.

chnsure to You can have a look at hxxp://samfirmware.com for baseband/build combinations. Use Triangle away and just AFTER that flash a Samsung stock firmware. That should fix your System Status.
