    Post [Rom]MIUI 2.1.13 [2.3.7][1.15.12]

Hey T.C.P just wanted to say how awesome of a job you're doing on this ROM. I'm a little amazed at the amount of dedication you devs put into your work without asking for anything in return. Having all of your work resulting in something free for us to use is something quite rare these days...

    Post sixaxes controller update

I've almost beat Goldeneye 64 on mine and its been glitch-free. I've also put a good amount of time in Mario Kart 64 and still no problems. Not sure what to tell you. Disable sound I guess :/

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

This is normal. Profile will become active when you lose signal, then it runs the script for that profile. I've never seen this before. Not sure what could be causing that. If no one else in this forum knows, maybe ask the developer of Tasker.

I have tried it with a couple wiimote pairing apps from the market, none of them are working for me. My phone is rooted.

Thread Wiimotes and Epic 4G Touch?

Another thread talks about the Sixaxis controller now working well on the Epic 4G Touch, so has anyone gotten a Wiimote to work? The description for both the Wiimote Controller app and Sixaxis Controller app state that it won't work with "newer Samsung devices" but they got the Sixaxis to work...

    Post Some Tips & Tricks

Great list. I can't believe taking snapshots is that easy. Other phones need root to do that! (Hence, a nice new feature in ICS). And I love the brightness adjusting via notification bar. Why aren't these tips in the freaking manual? I could've shown this off to people.

Post Typing the word "soon" in an SMS erases ALL of my texts.

Yes I read the original post, I know its a non-rooted stock device. What I was saying was that I would like to see if the problem would persist on another rom. I was saying that if it were me, I would root and test with different software.

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

I'll add this in to my first post. But how do you get tasker to execute this code? I'm not sure which task option this would use.

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

Profiles will activate once the context's have been fulfilled (in this case, when you lose signal). It should say No active profiles if you have signal. Not sure about the battery drain. I wouldn't really be able to notice the effect anyway because I use my phone pretty heavily. But it seems to...

Post Typing the word "soon" in an SMS erases ALL of my texts.

I'm sorry, but that is hilarious. What about other words that are similar, like sooon or oon? Does it happen when texting any person? If it were me, I would see if the problem occurs with other ROMs. I would assume the problem would go away, but then again, I would also assume a factory reset...

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

Wow... I just updated Tasker and now I see this. The version I was using didn't have that option. Thanks Chris41g. It stores it in whichever file you choose. When you do Add: File -> Write File, you specify which file you want it to add your time info. I just had mine store it in my SD...

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

I tried doing it without Quick Boot Plus. Tasker can only run the app, but within the app, you need to select 'Reboot' once it opens. I can't figure out how to send a reboot command to make it automatic. The plus version has a plugin for Tasker to make things easy. If anyone else knows how to do...

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

I believe the phone stores the text until you get signal. I just added this to mine: Add task: File -> Write File -> Tasker/LOS.txt Text: %Date, %Time Check 'Append'. This will add a timestamp everytime it happens. Works like pancakes. Added to original post. Thanks distantneighbor.

Nevermind, turns out it the other way I read about requires Locale, which I didnt realize costs $3.99. Using Quick Boot Plus would be cheaper. Either way, you can see how to do it here. http://tasker.wikidot.com/devicereboot

Post [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

Well here's the thing. The If and Wait commands are found under: Add new task -> Tasker -> If/Wait. This is why I wrote it as such. Maybe its just the version I'm using. Glad its working well for you! Edit: Here's what is shown for me (older versions). http://i.imgur.com/9Ek9s.jpg

Thread [GUIDE] Set Tasker to AutoReboot on Loss of Signal (LOS)

Loss of Signal (LOS) is annoying. A quick reboot gets signal back. Why wait until you notice you have LOS to reboot? You could be missing phone calls and messages. This will have your phone reboot automatically (unless you're using it), and also record a timestamp of when it happens so you can...

Post Possible Fix - - Loss of Use

My phone gets LOS only when I'm in certain areas, and I used to do a reboot whenever I noticed it. Now I just have a tasker profile set up so that whenever I get LOS, the phone reboots automatically, unless I'm using it. LOS doesn't bother me anymore.

Post [ACS][STOCK][DEV][RESTORE][KERNEL] Stock EG30 Kernel *Pulled from a non-rooted phone.

I've been using Zedomax V3 for a while. I would get LOS about 2-3 times a day, but then went out of town for the weekend to an area with weak signal and got it about every hour, maybe more since I wasn't always checking. AND THEN I put on this kernal and haven't had a single LOS for over a day...

I just got Itching Thumb and Wave Launcher installed on my Galaxy S2, they both work great!
