Thread Spoof a different version of Android to install apps

I had a question that Googling has not answered. I have my old S4 laying around and want to give it to my cousin to play Pokemon GO. Before I go through the process of finding a stable ROM and then upgrading/flashing said ROM, I wanted to ask the XDA community if its possible to "spoof" the...

Thread storage/emulated/legacy is empty. Also /sdcard links to storage/emulated/legacy.

Hello all I recently installed XInternalSD from xposed app. Before I did this if I opened Root Explorer and clicked the /sdcard path it would show the files on the internal memory. Now it links to emulated/storage/legacy which is blank and only 900MB in size. Is that correct? I swear it's not...

Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds for jfltespr

Hi all, Quick question. Is there a stable build of CM12, as in an official Stable release, or is it all just nightly builds now? I am still on CM 10.2.1 and don't really have any issues with it but would love to upgrade to Android 5+, but only on a stable CM ROM.

I am on CM 10.2.1 running Android 4.3.1 (MJA). I was thinking about upgrading to the latest CyanogenMod version or another ROM. Thread [Q] Can you change the default download location of the Stock broswer in CM10?

Hi All, I noticed that any downloads via the stock AOSP browser that's included with CM10, get put into the "/sdcard/download" directory. Is there any way to change this location, besides downloading the Chrome browser which I believe lets you change that easily via its settings?

    Post [ROM][ODIN]SPH-L720 MF9 (MF9 Modem/Kernel/Bootloader/ROM - No Data Wipe - Rooted)

So, if I have already taken the MJA OTA form before I rooted my S4, can I still flash this ROM? Or will the bootloader still be MJA with KNOX? Also, would it be safer to completely unroot, take all the OTA's and then re-root to avoid the issues some people are reporting by flashing NAE/MK2 modems?
