My buddy is on Verizon and he has called me a few times, it is a Verizon business account but he's got an iPhone. I don't really know too many other people with them though.

It works great for me, only thing to note... Voice over wifi is not functional. Verizon Messages will not let you send texts over wifi. Otherwise, HD voice works, and it works flawlessly.

Eh scratch that, it doesn't work. Actually got into no service and neither messages or wifi calling actually worked on Verizon. Back to the drawing board.

I am very interested in this as well. Have zero cell coverage at my job, but amazing wifi coverage. That and a way to do wifi texting, but I think I may have to dig around for that one.

I am interested to see how DP4 is, 3 is way more stable than 2 was. For me 2 had too many issues to consider using daily (my phone is a work phone as well). Heres to hoping they get on it this week!

Verizon support I chatted with, just told me she found the update for me to download for my s7 Edge!!! developer.android.com... Seriously. I just said thanks.... At least she helped with the original reason I initiated chat, I just asked about it because I always do. lol.

The T-Mobile build is pretty awesome, I had to ditch it tho because I can't use my phone at all at work without wifi calling. I know there are other ways around this but I'm back on mm to wait out the official version.

Verizon messenger does work, and that one, the Samsung app, and Google messenger all send over wifi for me. I had it in airplane mode to make sure. This also worked for me in beta 2. *Edit* I'm not sure why, but my phone does work sending over wifi in airplane mode but my wife's doesn't...

It's not really a big deal, this is running so nice I can deal with not having vvm until official comes out. Till then I'll just forward to voice.

I've tried a few APK's for that, and no dice, think we might have to wait for official to get it, or you can make a google phone number and forward it. Unless someone is feeling frisky and gets it going for us ;)

Awesome! glad to hear its working. If you have issues getting into anything because of the keyboard, go into any app you can and type out your email addy, then copy it and paste it where ya need. Just enough to install Gboard or something else, then ya shouldn't have to deal with that nonsense...

Im letting it charge back up, then will report back on that. Finally got all apps updated, all messages synced, and music re downloaded (apple music makes you re download to SD on a new install, which sucks). Everything does seem to be working right though. Cheers!

Ugh. No security updates in months, AND last to get the update (im assuming sprint will beat us too). Definitely going for the next Pixel when that comes.

I de registered, then downloaded Samsung Smart switch on my PC. Then hook up your phone, and open the app, it should say there is an update. The update will be MM, and will downgrade ya. Be aware, it will wipe ur phone, so do any backups ya need to do. Hope this helps.[COLOR="Silver"]

Strange, but I opted out of the beta because my work policies (its a work phone), and it seems I havent been removed from the database. The phone keeps bugging me to update, and gives no description of what the update is. If I let it happen (as I did on accident) I am right back on Nougat.

For those whos galaxy apps store icon disappeared, I had that too, I think its a bug in the upgrade, because I did a factory reset and the icon came back. All the issues I had went away too. Very Very impressed by this beta.

Seriously, this phone runs very nice with the baggage, without it is going to be extreme. GPE runs very smooth for sure.

Those who had loki could load the kernel necessary for this. Hence why those who were lucky enough to be on MDK could run it. Have faith though, the mere existence of safe strap will pull a ton of exciting options for this device. Im glad I waited it out.

I think it might take a bit more tweaking to get roms like that working as they are closer to AOSP which needs its own kernel usually, but im sure eventually, maybe sooner than you think, that may happen.

I get full 4g everywhere out here.. even in the most rural areas, don't see how anybody is going to match it when the other carriers don't even have a tower to upgrade to 4g lol.

Smack dab in between Rochester and Syracuse. My work phone is on att and I sit on edge almost everywhere I go, until I get into a city. Edge is painful. My buddy just switched off T-Mobile because he didn't have service at all in certain areas. And Sprint just plain doesn't exist out here lol...

I wish t-mobile, ATT or Sprint was an option where I am, sadly, in upstate NY it's not really an option unless you like to be off the grid (owning a smartphone is kind of the opposite of that). I hope it improves in the future.
