Preordered 13th Feb from Samsung, order arriving today, S20+

Status is still "Preparing Dispatch" for me Tried the live chat route: "As we check the order is now in preparing for dispatch and it is expected to be shipped out by 09.03.2020 and should you received on or before 10.03.2020."

Samsung S20 Plus Preorder here. The samsung site lists mine as preparing for dispatch too, no idea when it'll get dispatched however

Unfortunately I don't think it's that setting. This is the pop up I get. Since I use google pay, I have even tried switching to samsung pay, checking all settings are disabled then switching back but it still occurs

Seems like the common concensus is that it is happening but not sure why. I've double checked every setting is off. I think the only real fix at the moment is disable Samsung Pay using package disabler

I use an app called Light Flow, it allows you to set notification colours for various apps, e.g. Blue for Facebook, Green for Whatsapp. I absolutely love it, can see what notification you have just by the flashing colour

Update 13/03 - As per another similar thread, the issue has been identified as linking with Finger Sensor gestures being enable (Settings > Advanced Features > Finger Sensor Gestures) and Samsung will be issuing a fix this coming friday

So it only occured on the first day for me, since then it seems to be fine and working so not fully sure what changed as I didn't find any fix.

Never considered that, the clock and the calendar are the only two dynamic icons I believe

So I used Nova Launcher, and applied an icon pack. But Nova allows you to set icons individually too. So I just long pressed on say "Phone" and selected the default icon, same for Mail and Browser

Not sure if it's possible but the only other option is to use the Do Not Disturb scheduling option perhaps? If your alarm is regular then you can just schedule your do not disturb to end at 6am everyday

Got my phone back after 2nd repair, working LED once more, this time around they also swapped the motherboard incase that was the reason for the fault

So I had this issue about a week ago, I got the phone repaired and a new LED sensor thrown in, 2 days later, the LED has broken again. I think this might be a widespread issue

Just got mine through today, didn't realise after getting the message saying your claim has been validated, you get a final message saying your claim has been processed

I also submitted my claim 20th April and got it validated 8th May, I'm still waiting on mine to arrive, my claim was in the 2000 region so guess it'll come in the next few days

As an alternative workaround, you can use LightFlow that allows you to set LED colour based on app/notification, but there's a feature to actually allow the screen to wake upon receipt of a notification so it would enable you to achieve the text message to wake up screen, hope that helps!

Under settings > security > smart lock there are options for keeping your phone unlocked in certain situations, e.g. in trusted places or when connected to a particular bluetooth, check to see if nothing is enabled there, and usually it locks after a reboot like you listed

Ahh you can count on the forums to inform you of an issue you thought you were dealing with alone, I've also got the issue intermittently but a restart tends to help. I wasn't sure if maybe a disabled package is to blame when using Package Disabler

I'm upgrading from CW on O2. As far as I'm aware, I haven't heard anything and we won't do until they process the order when the phone gets released but all the adverts indicated we'll get it on the 20th. Unless someone can correct me otherwise.

I've joined the same club, I had the same case for my Galaxy S7 and loved it. I actually mistakenly ordered the Galaxy S8+ one which arrived today, it feels pretty good, have sent it back for a return and the S8 equivalent should arrive this evening
