Dude, i know this... i came from the vibrant. Im saying that NEITHER card shows ANY files... only directories... no zips on the root of /sdcard or /sdcard/ext-sd... nada, zip, zilch :D

ok i got it loaded up fine on my phone but i cannot figure out how to flash. i click the install button and it takes me to my directories but i dont see any files in the directories... there is no files listed in the root of either sd card as well. what am i doing wrong?

You didnt miss anything... the ONLY way to remove Tmo bloat is by using the HTCDEV.com bootloader unlock and unlocking your bootloader. Then you must permaroot your phone. Only then will you have adequate permissions to allow you to remove the bloatware from your phone. There is NO OTHER WAY...

Win 7 home premium... same as what I had when I used them on my vibrant. Never had issues using the Vibrant. Nothing changed on the pc at all.... its definately something in the phone.

You can turn OTA Updates off in the settings menu.... That's what I did. Never got the update notice

That apn method worked. I downloaded the whole quicksense rom with no interruption. Binary, not sure what issue you had but it worked for me fine... hopefully it will continue to work b/c I dont want to give up my Amaze.... it too nice!

So far i've tried Barnacle and Wifi Tether ( I had to download from the web since it will not show in the market). Both start fine and say they are sharing wifi but my pc on win 7 will not see them. I can try use either on the vibrant and both work fine, my pic finds them. Any other ideas...

I was just informed that on the SGS2, they frooze the app "Tethering Manager" with titanium backup. Can any of you rooted guys try this and confirm whether it works on the Amaze too? If so im sure we can just leave that apk out of future rom builds and be perfect!
