So it ended up being the build.prop. once I upgraded to hyperdrive 18 it let me install.... .weird

UPDATE: I tried restoring a nandroid backup and I get a E: no partition selected for restore, this happends on stock OR rom slot 1. I cant seem to find a option to select partition ( /system i presume)

I have flashed full for are via odin (using the 4.3 in brick stock software) and tried flashing roms as well. Goldeneye. But I didn't use a updater script. Just to confirm. I CAN run stock mk2 just fine. I can't do 4.4 or 4.3 custom roms

That's the problem. I have done that at least 8 times now. No matter what rom it won't boot. I'm trying a nandroid backup right now. (A backup of a mk2 because at this moment I can't even flash a mk2 rom)

what the hell. I must have done something to my phone when flashing the "revert" odin at the start... I cant even flash a 4.3 rom (golden eye) after odin back to stock 4.3 and SS 3.71 ?!?! Do I need to do anything to the golden eye updater script? I did the SS version. :'(

Let me explain. I WAS on 4.2... I thought at the time to use the downgrade package to get to 4.3. but I got a ATT unauth softbrick. After that I found the mk2 unbrick odin files, that got me back to mk2 and up and running. But I still flashed odin files when I was attempting the "fallback"...
