Thread Getting into Download Mode - Volume Down Button Broken

When I bought this tablet used, I knew the volume down button was broken, and until now that was okay. Admittedly, I did not research how to put this tablet into download mode prior to buying it, so I didn't realize that having a broken volume down button meant that I could not do any custom...

    Post [How-To] Root I337UCUFNI1 4.4.2 (9/18/2014)

I started having trouble with my Wi-Fi (wouldn't turn on at all) randomly the other day, so after spending ALL DAY trying to diagnose, I finally went back to this thread and figured I'd try the process all over again. Somehow, I realized that what I did the first time was I flashed the NI1...

Confused Okay, here's what I did.... Downloaded both files; noticed that the NI1 file had an extra extension on if after the md5, ignored that for the moment... Flashed NC1 using Odin, phone rebooted. I had actually walked away from my phone while NC1 was flashing, so not entirely sure it...

Latest update working fine for me I just wanted to chime in and say that the latest update (6/18) is working perfectly on my phone. No wipe, no dalvik, no cache. I just installed the update, then installed the latest gapps, and I was all good to go. No problems. :good: I always use...

Finally did a full wipe and clean install of PB. Had to.... Too many low-battery sudden shutdowns caused it to have an encryption error upon boot..... Wouldn't load anything. Glad I did it because now all the problems I was having, such as the "MAPSamsungService has stopped working" error are...

Great job with 2.6 Chris. If my phone is working fine, do I need 2.6.1? I think you already answered this, but I can't remember what was said about the 2.6.1 update. I am totally loving this last update... Well, this ROM in general actually, PB is awesome! Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda...

I meant would it appear in kitchen automatically. But, yes, I found it. I think you put the wrong file in there because all it did was give me the old lock screen and it still rotates. I kinda liked the new lock screen, just not the rotation. :D Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium

Post [Poll] Do you use a case?

I use a thin rubberized case from ebay on my GS2. Keeps it light and thin, but adds a bit of cushion if I were to ever drop it. On that note, I stopped using a case on my Captivate since I had to swap out batteries all the time. Dropped it many times, no scratches or anything. Actually, the...

I choose it firstly because iOS is boring, as others have stated. Also for the swappable battery. It has brighter colors and is more customizable. Also just because it's not Apple! Oh, and because of the Gorilla Glass. I had a Captivate for 2 years and dropped it many times, glass never...
