Does this method show as you using hot spot and they charge you for using it? I have the unlimited data plan but I am not paying the extra for the hotspot feature because I think it is dumb and should be free anyways as a feature of the phone so I refuse to pay for that service. I have ATT.

This just started happening and I am not sure why. It was working just fine before but the default setting for blink frequency keeps the LED constantly on. I don't want this as I am sure it will kill the battery. I want the LED tho and I want handcent. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

A temporary fix is indeed better than no fix. I tried to call google this morning and each time I did with multiple phones they couldn't hear me but I could hear them. It was strange. They must be having issues.

There have been no real solutions other than to download hideman vpn app and have it connect then I haven't had an issue with any app downloading. I believe this is a play store issue. Not a phone issue.

We shouldn't have to dl some app to fix an issue like this. Google needs to fix it because this is just ridiculous. How is it working for some but not for others....and some apps work some don't then some don't then start to work. It makes no sense.

I just tried to dl hungry shark evolution and it errored. It seems weird that some of these are erroring and some aren't. Plague Inc. and Sniper shooter both installed fine.

Chomp installed fine for me as well. Try Candy Crush Saga (not that I play it just a non google large app). I get the error with that.

Yea some apps install fine while others don't. Like for instance for a test I have been trying to download instagram and I got the error message on both phones.

I have even tried to call google to ask them about the issue from two different phones and each time they couldn't hear me but I could hear them. Maybe somebody else could try contacting them about this issue? My mom's phone also has the "Package file is invalid" both on mobile data and wifi.

Yea I did that as well. No go. I am starting to think this is something to do with the play store as well. It can't be my phone if lots of other people are experiencing the same exact issue at the same time.

Just made a similar post. I am having the same issue on just about all the apps I try to install. Maybe something is up with the play store? IDK. I have tried to wipe the apps cache, restarting, uninstalling the play store update and nothing has worked. Over Wifi is how I download my apps...

Same here. I can download and install apps of smaller size without issue. I don't understand why all of a sudden this has started to not work.

All I had to do to get it to work was take the files out of the folder and put the file directly into the root of the SDcard without the folder then it worked.

Doubtful at this minute man lol. Baby steps lol.

You could youtube how to fix it. It is incredibly simple. No soldering is required. Just unscrewing the part then screwing the new on in. VERY simple.

Sounds you and I are having the same issues with these wakelocks. I have no audio sounds playing (from the phone or the app minus ringtones) at any point so I am not sure why that wake lock would be that high. I have the stock items that come with Shostock 6.0. I never had an issue before...
