I found that greenify alone did not limit the amount of battery usage. I had to turn off location services to get the battery drain to stop. That is why I asked for a Notification Screen Toggle.

I was surprised at how much Google Location Services used my battery, I went from around 2.5%/hr to 0.9%/hr with that turned off (when the screen was off) I will try greenify.... Appears that I already have Maps hibernated. The reason I wish there was a toggle is because when you use google now...

Philz "wipe before new rom" function = wipe user data + format /system and /preload. SD card content is not affected. Then when you install a new rom it clears other things as well. What does it clear when you install a new rom automatically?

When you guys wipe before an install of a new rom, do you just use Philz wipe before new rom option and then install the zip?

Tried using Row for I/O sched. and My device will reboot within a few minutes of setting it. Put it back to noop and no problems. Just my 2 cents

Air Droid Try Air Droid instead if Kies wifi

I am running 2.0 with 1.1f kernel and it is stable. I previously had boot loop problems with 2.0.1 and 1.2 kernel. Afraid to try the latest until everything calms down. So it does seem it is one of those 2 things.

So apparently I have been spoiled to long with the ability to easily go into recovery from the reset menu to remember that the button combo was (Vol + & - & power) until the second galaxy screen comes up. :) sorry guys. Anyways I went back to ver 2.0 until something gets worked out. Had a nandroid.

I am also stuck at the Galaxy boot screen. I do have an external SD card. I have tried it with and without the card installed. I cannot get to the CWM either. (by holding the power button down till the Galaxy screen shows up again) :(

Got it working, It was initially turned on. Have to turn it off, and then reboot and then turn it back on. All is good. :)

Battery I just had my Battery Jump from 50% to 9% after a reboot. Reboot again comes back up to 50%. What causes that?

NFC NFC now does not work initially. Had to turn it off, reboot, and then turn it back on.

Backup What do you guys backup with TiBU? Obviously the apps that you have but system stuff for texts and other things. I have done a wipe a few times and I always forget something.
