I posted about this several pages back plus one other user had the same thing going on. Seems any shortcuts for apps moved to SD disappear after reboot. I think ninja said it's due to media scanner but I'm not sure of the details behind why. I don't know if this is a ROM thing or jellybean...

Just an update on battery life. Wiped cache and dalvik, reflashed 1.7, then flashed kernel 1.1c and it's much better now. Only 10% drain last night over 8.5 hours and much better during day with normal light use as well. Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium

I had the same thing happen with icons disappearing on reboot, the same ones and only games. Turns out it's only the ones that were moved from phone to the sd card. I moved them back to phone and the problem went away. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be helpful as I don't want to have...

I have been considering re flashing 1.7 too because of the 1.1b battery drain. I also flashed 1.1c, then went back to 1.1a and even then it still hasn't seemed quite as good. Not sure if this is in my head, but it doesn't "feel" as good as it was before putting 1.1b on even after trying to fix...
