Post Possible to go from KK to JB?

Not true. In case any one else wondering the same thing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707555 I upgraded to FireKat V13 and it was buggy as hell for me, even though it had great battery life. I went back to 4.3 as a result. Was even able to restore my backup.

    Post [MOD][XPOSED][2.3+][2015-04-09] Xposed Additions

I guess what I'm trying to say is, your normal value does not seem to be changing the stock value. It still feels like 500ms. Maybe someone else with a Samsung phone (and on a stock based rom) can confirm if they experience the same thing.

    Post [MOD][XPOSED][2.3+][2015-04-09] Xposed Additions

What is the stock delay on most phones? It must be longer than 150 ms. I remember an old custom Samsung rom I was using where a dev implemented short timeout delay and it was about 200 ms. Stock was near 500ms I believe. Maybe I am mistaken, but the values you have don't seem right, they're way...

    Post [MOD][XPOSED][2.3+][2015-04-09] Xposed Additions

There is no way normal is 100ms on my Note 3. It feels more like 500ms (in other words, way too long for me). Long long press feels like a second and a half. Could this be a Samsung thing that's affecting the speed?

    Post [MOD][XPOSED][2.3+][2015-04-09] Xposed Additions

Just a small suggestion for the dev. The short long press delay is a little too fast. Hardware buttons like the power button often take a little more effort to press, so it ends up pulling up the reboot menu sometimes when trying to turn the screen off. I think another 100 - 200 ms added to...

Post [Q] Advice on what to do with my Note 3

No, what he meant was that with a locked boot loader on the AT&T Note 3, AOSP-based roms will never work because they require a different kernel. Also, to get a lot of cool custom ROM features without flashing a custom ROM, download and install the Xposed framework (google it). It's very easy...

Post [Q] Advice on what to do with my Note 3

Titanium backup should allow you to backup all of that I believe. Titanium was buggy for me when trying to back up texts. There are several apps in the store you can use to backup texts/mms and contacts if titanium doesn't work for you. Also, syncing your contacts to gmail is the best way to...

Post [Q] Advice on what to do with my Note 3

Titanium backup will let you backup your apps (and possibly texts), but not your rom. Safestrap should let you create a backup of your entire rom.

That sounds about right then. Screen time can usually last up to 5 hours before the battery dies.

    Post Is this normal?

How long was the screen on for? It's normal for any device to get hot when playing games, especially when running graphically intensive apps. It has nothing to do with whether the device is old or new.

Can't justify spending more than $100 on a subsidized device when I'll be paying over $3000 for the service during the course of 2 years knowing full well they're already milking customers. So I'm definitely going to stick with refurbished and take a risk.

Sblood86 specifically stated to not wipe when going from 4.2 to 4.3. I just did a fresh install of 4.2 and did a factory reset and wiped /system before flashing 4.3. It still got stuck on reboot. For those of you not having the reboot issue on 4.3, what did you do before flashing it?
