I have the same problem, flashed and can't boot ROM. Goes straight to bootloader. I'm still messing with it to see if i can figure it out..

Your archive may be corrupt it seems. Try redownloading the archive and give it another go.

Unfortunately, the verizon variant of the Moto G has a locked bootloader. I picked this phone up and have been using it for a good month now. Its a really great phone, but would be much much better with custom roms and such. There is a thread where some guys are trying to unlock the bootloader...

Be sure to remove the spaces and if I remember correctly there are words in parenthesis at the beginning of each line. Those need removed as well. I'd give better detail but I'm at work atm. Sent from my XT1028 using xda app-developers app

yeah, same here Totes. I was really hoping for a bootloader unlock. I followed the steps on the Motorola web site to see if my XT1028 could be unlocked, but it cannot. I would be happy with just root for now...
