This time I was using the JB 4.2 keyboard, but it also happens to me when using Swiftkey. As for widgets, I am currently using the calendar and the modern clock widgets that are built in.

That's not quite what I'm experiencing. The force closes are not in frequent succession, they happen ever few hours or so. Also, it's Touchwiz that crashes, not Gmail.

I have tried that before but it didn't help. Was there anything of use in the dumpfile, Sho?

I know, it's weird. I'm absolutely positive that it happened during the time frame of that logcat though. That's why I wasn't sure that I was doing it right. You would think that Touchwiz crashing would show up in the log.

Yes, I noticed this too. I assume its an issue with Google Play Music, but I wish I didn't have to exit the app for the drop down controls to show up in the lockscreen.

Honestly, I don't think the battery life you're getting is that bad. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I get that kind of drain on a good day.

But the whole battery discussion didn't offend you? I've checked Google and it seemingly has to do with the modem waking the phone and switch between 2g/3g/H+. Seems to be mostly a Samsung issue.

If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend that you drain the battery all the way to 0%. I was having similar issues as well but once I did a full battery cycle, my battery life improved massively.

The clock widget will only open the alarm. If you select the clock app in the app drawer, you should find the world clock, stopwatch, and timer.
