    Post Android N Preview

Has anyone else noticed that the Google Now card doesn't show up as a notification any longer? I can't seem to find a way to get it back, but I have Google Now notifications enabled. Edit: they finally made their first appearance about 5 minutes ago. Not sure why they took over 24 hours to...

Post Official CyanogenMod 13 Discussion Thread (Bullhead)

Which gapps seems to be working the best so far? Would I need to flash a new vendor package every time there's a new security update or just when an actual Android version change occurs? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I want to make sure I do the first flash right so I don't have to start...

Post Official CyanogenMod 13 Discussion Thread (Bullhead)

What all do you need to flash to get CM working properly from bone stock? I've gone back several pages and can't seem to find links to vendor.img, and I remember posts a while back with the packages required to get Fi working with proper network switching but can't seem to find that now either...

I've found that my 5x with Fi only picks wifi calling when cellular service is practically non-existent. Still haven't had any problems just letting it decide which to use. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

    Post [ROM] [LMY48W] [5.1.1] "Unofficial" CM12.1 Hammerhead w/ Xtra Cherries 10-09-2015

Just installed the Official CAF build for 3/08 and having some issues. So far the device has frozen twice while idle for roughly 10+ minutes each time. Settings crash when first accessing display control, and tweaks to the color saturation have no effect. Also, with the required CM Recovery...

    Post [ROM] [LMY48W] [5.1.1] "Unofficial" CM12.1 Hammerhead w/ Xtra Cherries 10-09-2015

Where is the March 8 CAF build? I'm not seeing it in the usual spot. Edit: Nevermind. Didn't even think to check the official site :) So while I'm here..is there any way to migrate from caf to aosp without a full wipe? Seems like my favorite custom kernel dev is not going to be pursuing caf...

The issue is being addressed here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!topicsearchin/android-wear/error$207|sort:relevance/android-wear/sHJLwsuNRJI They are apparently able to send a fix directly to your device.

Post My adventures with my ZenWatch over the weekend

Asus is good at locking down their devices, requiring you to register it with them to get an app to unlock it (you also acknowledge that by downloading the app you are voiding your warranty). I really wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing with this watch and just haven't released the...

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

I never once stated that it was marked CAF compatible in the OP. I clearly stated that it was marked as CAF compatible in the app. The issue had already been addressed by flar2. Please add me to your ignore list ASAP.

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

I did wrongly catch some attitude with you. I was a bit worked up after having another user try to tell me that the main difference between the official AOSP CM12 builds and myfluxi's CAF CM12 builds was the kernel when that is far from true. I do usually read the OP and I wrongly trusted the...

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

Sorry for blowing your thread up with all of this. I just wanted to point out the issue I had after receiving the app notification to possibly save other users some frustration. I've always enjoyed your kernel and appreciate the hard work you put into it.

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

Because everybody with the EX app is going to check the XDA thread to verify what the app is saying. Edit: the main reason I purchased the app was to keep from having to check this thread for updates.

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

You have completely missed the point twice now. I'm trying not to be a jerk, but something marked as CAF compatible should be CAF compatible. I'm not going to participate in your circlejerk any further.
  18. Spinergy02

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

Myfluxi's builds are not simply base cm12 with a caf kernel. Edit: I'm sorry for assuming that what was marked as the ElementalX CAF Kernel in the app was, in fact, NOT a CAF kernel.
  19. Spinergy02

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

EX gives the user more control over kernel operations that simply isn't offered with the default caf kernel on CM12. I've also found myfluxi's CM builds to be more stable overall, and your kernel as always been the icing on the cake. I meant no offense, just wanted to mention that the app is...

Post [KERNEL] [March 3] ElementalX N5 8.14 (Nougat) 9.02 (Oreo)

So..the kernel that the app is listing as compatible with CM/CAF is not compatible with the full CAF version of CM12. Just wanted to put that out there before anyone else softbricks their phone like I did :)
