    Thread I have a Flip PU leather case, can I cut off the flip part?

    I bought the phone used and it has the back cover with the Flip PU leather cover. I do not like it, as I prefer a regular case. Can I just cut that part off? Would that affect the operation of the phone? Or can I get a case that can accommodate the flip PU?

    So very recently my phone started to do things on its own. It starts pressing things on the screen randomly on its own, the screen locks up.
