I tried running the RUU in fastboot usb and it says there is a usb error? It says fastboot usb on the phone, though. Not sure why it finally worked but I got the RUU update to the phone and it booted! Now to unlock again and all that. Thanks a ton for the continued support! This seems like one...

I wiped and flashed evervolv again, then tried CM11. Both just boot loop. I didn't backup..

Well I show s-off now, but I'm getting the boot loop.. I've tried to wipe and reflash rom but it just keeps boot looping.. Can rumrunner brick my phone? I flashed a different rom and it still just boot loops. I'm getting worried.

What boot.img would I flash from the kernel zip? Or do I just rename the .zip to boot.img?

I haven't messed with the kernel at all. Hboot says Hboot-2.28.000, Radio says Radio-2.23.10.0123r/2.23.10.0124r. What kernel would you recommend?

Got it working, thanks! The only problem is the damn battery.. I had to order an extended battery. Hopefully it's a lot better. It loses battery while charging right now.

Annnd that did it. Thanks again. I'll have to wait until later to see if it works with Straight Talk, but at least it's not a paper weight anymore!

I had been using another phone to put the ROM zip on the external SD card. It finally said it installed Evervolv, but when I boot up it just black screens now :/ [EDIT] Now when I try to wipe it says: "E: Unable to mount '/emmc' E: Unable to mount '/emmc' E: Unable to mount internal storage"

It just says "E: Unable to open zip file. Error flashing zip '/sdcard/TACHYON- 1.2.zip'" And Failed in red above the Home button.

I was looking for a rom that would let me use this phone with Straight Talk. Would any of those work for that? Tachyon fails too.

No offense taken! I'm here for help after all, haha. But yes, I have the unlock code.bin, type that into a CMD run from he sdk folder, get the accept screen on the phone, accept and it still says relocked. I dunno what I'm doing wrong, or if the phone is just screwed..

No matter how many times I go through the bootloader unlock screen it still says RELOCKED in fastboot.

I'm pretty inexperienced with rooting.. I think I may have messed my brother's phone up. I rooted his rezound and got cwm recovery working. I tried to flash a "TACHYON-1.2.zip" rom I found here and now it won't boot past the white background with green htc screen when I try to boot the phone...

No settings changed in cpu. Wiped cache and dalvik one of the first times it happened and it didn't help anything. Switched to AJK kernel, so I'll let you guys know if that fixes it. Thanks!

Was the echo on the other side of calls ever get solved. It just started happening to me after SHOstock3 and Siyah.

I didn't have PhilZ CWM, so I got that first and then flashed Siyah kernel and Siyah recovery. I'm on SHOstock3 2.1 now with no problems at all (so far)! Thanks for your help mr-cook, razen_kain and angelj73!

Well, I flashed SHOstock3 v2.1 and had the same issue. I still have the CWM that root4rd3d posted a while back and I haven't changed it or the kernel since I've been rooted, so I guess I probably don't have the PhilZ CWM. I'm assuming I would flash the CWM and Siyah kernel in Odin? I have never...
