This method you used is for a SII t989. There is a stock image for straight talks sgh-s959g in this thread. If you flash it you should be back to normal. Download the image from the thread then when your ready to flash In the warning screen press volume up. This is download mode. Flash via heimdall

Curious does it run better with stock or Entropy's dd? Do you notice any difference other than the triangle?

It would be interesting to find out the results after some time. Have you lost mobile data? Gmail Working? Search Working? Did rebuilding it fix the issues ? It seems to have taken a little while for the problems to show before the rebuild.
