Just to be clear, were you using a Pixel 2 or 2 XL? I got the case and there is enough of a lip to protect the screen on the Pixel 2 (non-XL) when face down. I don't mind this case for the price. Although it does make the fingerprint sensor a tad harder to access. But that's all cases.

Bummer. I was hoping that lip comment only applied to the XL with the rounded edges. I'm sure I'll be returning mine too then. Not the phone though, I like the 2. Good luck with your next phone!

Don't think WhatsApp has ever had a micro apk for Wear. So that shouldn't be the cause.

Just as an update to myself, my battery issues went away after I flashed again. So it appears to be an isolated issue.

For anyone considering the Bear Motion case, do not try to put it on if you have a dbrand skin unless you plan on never taking it off. Seems obvious with a hard shell case, but worth stating that you'll risk damaging your phone trying to remove the case. And yes, I do feel dumb for trying it. ;)

I don't think there is any reason to jump to the conclusion it's defective but knowing how Amazon operates, I'd think they could fix a listing in minutes, not multiple days. I have no experience as a retailer with Amazon, so I could be completely misguided.
