.tar kernel versions Entropy, any hope of .tar versions of your latest kernels? :) I was going to compress the zImage from the latest kernel zip to .tar, but wasn't sure if that would work. Thanks!

Just power down your SGS II, plug in the jig and it should automatically boot you into download mode. You should see a prompt screen stating "Erasing download information succeeded". Remove jig, reboot. Viola… Reset Counter and No Yellow Wakness!

Did you go through the Root Instruction in the first page of this thread? It worked for me. My next mission it to get a new boot screen and boot animation. This AT&T animation is garbage.

Yeah I think that is the case, can't get it to work, this stock boot screen makes me sad.

They are working perfect along with everything else. Thanks for the heads-up. I've been trying to get the boot screen image replaced, but haven't had any luck. I tried both versions of the SGS2_custom_param. Might just be my lack of sleep, I'll give it an other try tomorrow. Thanks again!

Correct Kernel? Sorry for my noobness. I rooted my my AT&T S II and I'm getting the GT-I9100 bootload with the yellow exclamation mark. I order the USB jig to reset the counter and kill the exclamation mark. My question is, did i install the wrong kernel and that's why I'm getting the 9100 vs...
