    thankfully I'm not trying to game on over my cell network :) Pings times (for me) range from 100 - 280ms over 13 tests with the average being somewhere in the 170 range. I get the best speeds out of Boston (9000kbps+) despite G4 communications being based a mile away from me.

    Phone is successfully unfucked (look at me with all the technical jargon). I did an MD5 check on the image I had on the SD card and it turns out the file got corrupted in the transfer (I'm blaming MTP for this one). I wish CWM would have caught the problem before installing the rom, but I guess...

    I'm about to go out and get a microSD -> SD converter and load some other roms. I'll let you know if the thing unbricks itself in the meantime. Lesson learned today: Create Backups.

    My phone gets stuck at the Samsung GS2 splash screen after updating from 2.2.1 -> 2.2.2 I foolishly deleted the 2.2.1 zip from my card so I can't try installing that. Any ideas on how to get this thing unstuck?

    resistors have tolerance ratings on them. It's not a mixed bag, whatever the tolerance rating is, is what it is... to the best of my knowledge power ratings don't mean too much.

    Alright, if you are trying to install CWM head to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285823 I installed AT&T's 2.3.6 and was able to put CWM recovery on my phone after the upgrade.
