This is not something I rigorously tested so take it for what it's worth, but the pegasusq governor was incinerating my battery on the previous two builds. Five hours or less and always running hot (over 115 degrees). Then I forgot to set it back when flashing and suddenly phone is back to over...

Point of clarification, is the echo fixed by swapping the mics like dastin had done previously for CM10.1, or is it fixed and then they are unswapped like he said is about to happen? Just checking on where it's at.

Ack. I'm getting power button issues- doesn't wake the phone frequently (fixed by turning on volume rocker wake), other times it "flickers" like the menu button bug, other times it reboots the phone. As far as I'm aware anything after CM9a6 has a safe kernel that avoids the emmc bug, and basically around the same time the stock ICS kernels were made safe. There's a thread/sticky somewhere that explains it. Doesn't really matter either way, CWM6 doesn't do anything that I've noticed as a...

UPDATE: I believe the problem I had flashing had something to do with the file system in CM9b1, because I also had problems flashing CM10 from the external sd card as well. Flashing CM10 from the internal, rebooting recovery then flashing CNA worked. Rebooting now to check this sucker out.

I'm a fan of the flash first school of thought. Having said that JB/CM10 does seem to have battery issues above and beyond the usual ones- random sharp drops in the gauge, charging far too quickly for what we know is possible, etc. I believe that's what he was referring to. Of course this can't...

Minor note: the zip won't flash using the TeamWin recovery. It looks like the fail involves format(), I assume because that recovery explicitly blocks any sort of wipe that could trigger the brick bug. Not a big deal, going to use EL29 instead. Just making a note of it. Sent from my SPH-D710...
