Yes, as mentioned above, I've followed the instructions on that thread. However, the links are mostly dead, so I can't get the TWRP file, and my PIT is corruption. So, I am stuck, anyway, and can't flash to LOS14.1.

I think the S and K are drastically different. Iirc, these PIT files are about 4kb big, besides.

I have searched extensively but I can't seem to find an answer. My I'm using Odin to flash my SHW-M250K, but it always says the PIT file is corrupt. I've let it get it and restart the phone. That one keeps saying it's corrupt and saying it needs to acquire a PIT file, looping the procedure...

Alright, so, I have the SHW-M250K. I need to get TWRP on it, somehow, in order to install the LineageOS build. I have been following the instructions in this thread; however, the links are all dead, except for the ROM itself. I need TWRP to get it installed, but I have had no such luck...

UPDATE: Okay, I was able to get the TWRP to "successfully" install by using JOdin3 and following directions from the net, such as these (Using the L-model from the first post, ofc). It says it works, but whenever I go into the recovery menu, there is never a TWRP menu-- just the stock recovery...

I'm trying to get this to work on my SHV-E210L, but I keep getting the error that the signature validation error. This happens when I am trying to use ADB to sideload the TWRP file. What am I doing wrong, do you think?

Okay, so, I have to ask. Why does this program need super user authentication? I don't understand why it needs that level of access if it's just for flashing the ROM on a cellphone. I'm just saying that's unrelated to needing root access on my computer, I think.
