I think you are confusing bootloaders for kernels. But by calling it a bootloader you will confuse the OP into possibly screwing up their phone. I don't know if you need an ics kernel for jb. I'm just trying to clear up the misnomer. Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium

I've actually experienced this twice. Both times flashing to AOKP. I'm not blaming AOKP but just saying. The first time even my PC wouldn't read it and it needed to be reformatted. The second time my pc could read it and after nandroiding back to shostock2 it was fine. Sent from my SGH-I777...

That's pretty much the gist of it. Except the running batch part. If I'm not mistaken that's using to infamous gs2root method. The preferred method is using a stock tar that has root built in and using Odin to flash it over. Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium

Awsome. I too think it's weird it doesn't work with shostock2. I'm on shostock2 and my phone works fine with my car stereo through bluetooth. Granted I'm using a pioneer radio. But just confirming shostock2's bluetooth does stream fine on mine. Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium

I know that's what makes sense. But just try it. I was in the market for a suv and was doing bluetooth tests on them to make sure they were compatible. And the kia I looked at connected with bluetooth fine but only played through the aux mode. In other words, without a cable from phone to radio...

How did you flash it? Did you use CWM or rom manager? If you used rom manager you will most likely have to odin back to stock then use mobile odin to flash a CWM kernel. Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda premium
