I assume you mean touchwiz. Tw requires samsung api. If your rom is based off the stock rom, it should work. Otherwise you just need to find a suitable replacement. I prefer Launcher Pro, but there are several choices. Sent from Oa using XDA Premium App

It may be different on android, but on my last phone it was highly advised not to format when using the phone as a card reader. I bought a cheap USB model at Newegg for ~$5 that handles more card types than you can shake a baby at. Its proven to be well worth the cash. Sent from Planet Oa.

Cognition was my first rom , and worked great, but at the time I used it gingerbread wasn't ready, and cm7 had it. The one thing I miss is the alarm/timer app from cognition. Does Antone know which market app that might be, or how I can get it out if a rom without having to install cognition...

I don't like being forced to keep the amazon store open, but I understand the need to. Otherwise they'd have to fiddle with every paid app so it checks with their servers not google to see if it's authentic. They're behind enough on their versions already. Its also a bit annoying if you forget...
