I just tested a couple Disney VOD. They had AD's embedded into the stream, but I could fast-forward through them.

Yup, I see that some Disney Shows still have ADs. I'll research some more this weekend.
The only thing I have noticed is my recordings and VOD seem to start a little faster. The long pause at the beginning is gone. But that also might be attributed to the new mod :cool:
You ain't got no problem Jules, I'm on the motherf*****. Wait for the cavalry, which should be coming directly. I'm sending the Wolf...

Purchasing the cloner app is a major PIA. You have to install *another* app to purchase it.

https://www.appcloner.app/
If both modded and unmodded apk's are not installing, then you have an issue with side-loading apps on your device. Verify that your device is configured to allow 3rd party apps. You might have to do some Googling.
After you clone, make sure you uninstall the original app. I couldn't get the mod to run with two versions installed. Also make sure you have storage permissions enabled.
If anyone is interested, I found this DTVN config data on my iPad. The 'best' rate is only 2.5Mbps.
"bitrateCaps": {
"maxStreamingBitrate": 1500000,
"liveTilesBitrate": 150
},
"streamingBitRate": {
"good": 600000,
"better": 1300000,
"best": 2500000
I've experimented with the 20000000 bitrate setting on both Shield TV and Sony Bravia TV. The 20000000 rate did improve the video on both types of devices. I also experimented with settings > 20000000, but did not see any video quality improvement. 20000000 = 20Mbps. 20Mbps should be plenty...
Sorry, I haven't created an Apple mod (yet). I'm just looking at the Apple IPA for parameter references, so we can apply them to the Android APK mod. Some of these parameters are fake, so the developers attempt to send us on a goose-chase. ACHILLES R32 is testing my Shield root mod. That...
In these apps, audio passthrough typically has better quality. IE= Dolby 5.1, 7.1, etc. I just need to figure out how to enable this parameter in the code.
I found an audio passthrough option on the Apple IPA version. Unfortunately, the parameter doesn't seem to have any impact on the Android apk app :( I'll keep looking.
I also discovered that a USB mouse works on the Sony TVs. If you plug in a mouse, it's easier to navigate the apps that were designed for a phone. Like the clone app.
The clone trick with a spoofed GPS worked on my x930E. I think the android OS on the x930E is the same as the x900F. After I installed the clone, I did have to uninstall the original app.
I cloned the app and spoofed the GPS location during the clone. I did have to uninstall the original Directv Now app, or I received a 'JavaunsupportedOperationException' error.
Like reading comments like this lol
You should look a few posts back the HBR pictures I took look amazing on the x900e.
Still can't believe it's a 1080p source. No filters were added to the pics [emoji1]
I'll do the mod someone figures out which code to edit
For the UFC App, I don't know...
Excellent work on these mods. Thank you! I can confirm the HighBitrate versions worked on my Sony TVs. x930E, A1E and x930D. The x930D occasionally pauses, but I think that is because the x930D is the older model with a slower processor. With this mod, the video stream is noticeably better...
