I'm in a similar situation. TWRP will not mount anything, If i try to wipe cashe, ect it says failed. If i try adb push it does not work. At this point I would be fine with just going back to stock. Hopefully someone can find a solution to our problem.

thanks for the link but thats for the Kindle Fire HD. I have kindle fire 2 non hd. When i tried that img file the screen is just black. I reflashed 2.6 and got back into TWRP.

I have not been able to find 2.7 for the kindle fire 2. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I am able to transfer the files over but when I try to wipe it fails. I have attached a pic. Been reading through post after post for the past few days with no luck.
